What earned a small content site 100+ Copilot citations

Microsoft Copilot has cited pages from BashSnippets, our command-line reference site, more than a hundred times. Nothing about the site is clever — the citations come from structure: one complete answer per page, the answer stated first, schema under every article, and being indexed where Copilot actually looks.

How much does a small business website cost in 2026?

Freelancers and local web companies usually bill by the hour, so the total depends on the hours. The domain, email and upkeep come on top of every option. Our own prices are published below.

When to redesign your website, and when not to

Redesign your website when it's slow on a phone, looks dated on a foundation that can't be refreshed, can't be updated by you, doesn't show up for what you sell, or is locked to a builder or a web company you don't control. If it's fast and yours to edit, a refresh, or nothing at all, may be enough. Whichever you pick, protect your old addresses, domain, email and analytics.
